Below you will find our standardized mowing price based upon square footage. Don't know what yours is? No Problem. Call our office or ask for a quote on our contact page and we will use our satellite imaging software to find out.
*Our treatment packages (fertilizer, aeration, dethatching) fall under the square footage pricing as well. Inquire with our office for more details.
Please keep in mind that no two lawns are the same and certain factors may cause the price to increase. These factors can include:
Shape - The shape of the lawn and the number/location of planters can drastically alter the amount of time that it takes to mow a lawn.
Slope - Some slopes can only be safely cut with certain equipment.
Access - Are there any stairs that our Employees might have to carry equipment up or down? Are there any gates? Depending on the access, the price may increase.
Clipping Disposal - We bag all our lawns during the wetter spring and fall months. However, we do recommend that the clippings be left in the lawn during the drier season. As the mulched clippings decompose they release their nutrients back into the soil, acting as a natural fertilizer and food for healthy micro-organisms. If you want your lawn bagged year round we are happy to do that. If you would like the clippings bagged and hauled away every week it will raise your price. If you have a place where we can dispose of them onsite there is no extra cost.
1) What if my lawn only takes 5 minutes to mow?
- We have a minimum of $20/cut, even if the lawn is less than 500 sq. ft. Trucks, trailers, insurance, fuel, and other expenses make it necessary for us to charge that minimum fee. On top of the staff you see servicing your property, we also have full time office staff that take care of each Client in regards to billing, invoicing, and Customer service.
2) What if my lawn hasn't been mowed in a while and is overgrown?
- If the lawn is out of hand when we arrive for the first cut, it can often take 2-3 times longer to mow. Because of this, the first visit or two may cost more. Once the height is back to our standards, pricing will fall into alignment with the rate chart.
